Bee Happy!

1.Field trip to the Harmony Equine Center: We will be going to the Equine Center in Franktown on Friday, May 12th to deliver our donations and to visit the horses. Look for the permission slip and lunch order form in your child's Thursday folder this week. Permission slips will be due by May 1st. Please pay the field trip fee through the parent portal. Your child will be able to bring a backpack with their lunch, sunscreen, snacks, a hat, and water bottle. PLEASE HAVE THEM WEAR CLOSE TOED SHOES! NO SANDALS!

2. Butterflies: We have started our Painted Lady Butterfly life cycle! The kids have been observing and charting their progress. Some are starting to form their chrysalises. It has be exciting to watch them grow and change

3. Bee Visit: Today, Friday, April 28th, Marcia Trehal, bee keeper will come to visit us to discuss pollination, bee adaptations, and why bees are needed in our ecosystem!
